  • No school on Veteran's Day, Wednesday, November 11.
  • Conference Week: November 16-20 Minimum Days all week, 12:50 dismissal
  • Nov 23-27 no school, Thanksgiving Break

Around Campus
Basketball was a success! Thank you to our coaches Mr Gomez and Coach Serg, as well as Mr Carter who was our referee, and parent Monica Morales who stepped in to coach when we needed it. Our games, Basketball Palooza and staff verses students were all so fun and a celebration of sportsmanship.

We will have basketball clinics once a week after the Thanksgiving Break. If you would like to sign up please reach out to Ms Gwynne gcropsey@mpusd.net or 8313129452.

Sports at Seaside Elementary Schools: Sports teams at the Seaside Elementary Schools are a newer development which arose out of survey responses from families asking for sports. They are possible because of the Community Schools program. Sports teams meet twice a week for 6 weeks, and students must attend practices to play in games. Sports clinics are being paid for with Community School and ELO funds, and happen once a week to give students a chance to develop skills and broaden their knowledge of the sports they love.

HIGHEST RESPONSE RATE IN MPUSD. Youth Truth Is Done: Del Rey Woods had the highest response rate from families in the entire district! We are so grateful for you all, thank you families! Our students will now get their party, and student leadership will take surveys with the kids to decide what kind of party they want! Congratulations Mayra Carrillo! You are the winner of our final parent Youth Truth drawing. Enjoy the $50 gift card!
