Clubs Starting Dates
Wonderful Del Rey Woods Families!
We have some clubs starting over the next two weeks. Read below for the club or sports clinic your student is signed up for to check start dates, and days of the week. Also, over the next two weeks, look for an email from Parent Square about the club to confirm your student's enrollment. If you wish to sign them up, please reply to this post with their name, grade and club/activity they wish to join. We want our kids to have the activities they have told us they love, and we are responding to their voices by hosting many clubs upon their request! However, safety is our top priority. Please be patient as we put together our rosters and send out notices to you about these clubs and sports so we can all safely track the whereabouts of all of our students.
A note on soccer: We have over 60 students interested. We will have clinic for soccer on Wednesdays and a team in the spring. We have 2 parents willing to help our coach host our many soccer enthusiastic students, but clinic days may have to change depending on their availability! We are trying our best to meet the high demand for this activity, so to be continued.
- Student Leadership: Tuesday, September 15, 2:30 in the library. We will have a real Federal Judge present to us about Constitution Day!
- Hands On Engineering: Tuesday, September 15, 2:30 Room D-2. Run by "Kodely" (grades 2-6 space still available)
- Math in Motion: Wednesday, September 16, 1:00 PM, Room K1. Run by "Kodely" (grades TK-2, space still available)
- Soccer Clinic:Wednesday, September 16, 1:00 PM, meet at cement tables by cafeteria
- Indigenous Mexican Dance: Monday, September 21, Room D-2
- Anime/Manga Club: Monday, September 21, 2:30, Room D-5 (Mr Mourges' classroom)
- Basketball Team Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting September 22. Meet at the cement tables by the cafeteria.
- Volleyball Clinics: Tuesdays 3:30-5:00 beginning September 22. Note the late start time, and consider capoeira or student leadership on Tuesdays for your student if they are not part of CPY or ELO.
- Martial Arts/ Capoeira: Tuesdays 2:30-3:30 and 3:45-4:45 beginning September 22. Room TBD
