Leaders Message

It was a great week to be a DRW Dolphin! We had a great turn out for Back to School Night and Back to School Connection Conferences! Students and teachers were able to share the amazing instruction and guidance they provide every day. It is always so inspirational to get to know our students and families, and makes us stronger.

Today we had our first Fire Drill of the year. We will hold one fire drill a month, 2 earthquake drills and 2 announced ALICE drills this year. We will send out information prior to each ALCE drill with detailed information to keep the process clear for all families and students. Today, our Fire Drill went exceptionally well! All students were accounted for quickly, even the students that were in the cafeteria! We are particularly proud of our TK and Kinder students who assembled on the grass field on the kinder playground and proudly displayed their green ALL CLEAR signs. We hope that we never experience a fire on campus, but we practice knowing what to do so that we are always ready!
